Disney Records

Disney Records is the official Walt Disney music label which releases soundtracks and compilations. Their Disney Sound unit, which focused on "original live music by live artists the whole family can enjoy", was established in 2004, and was dissolved in mid-2010.

They Might Be Giants was the first act to sign with Disney Sound in 2004, negotiating a three-album contract of CD/DVD albums that would be known as the Here Comes… series. At the same time, they also contributed to soundtracks and compilations released by Disney. Songs by the band were also played on the Playhouse Disney television block, as well as at Disney store locations. Their contract with Disney ended after the release of Here Comes Science in 2009, and the band is no longer affiliated with the company.

Disney Sound later dissolved around mid-2010, with their last releases being Japanese issues of Here Come The ABCs and Here Come The 123s, released on March 17 that year. The reason was due to Disney Records, its parent company, no longer being interested in releasing any more CD/DVD sets like the ones by Disney Sound.[1]

Disney has released the following albums which contain TMBG material:
