- On November 30 at 7:00pm, TMBG documentary Gigantic will be played at the new 92YTribeca (200 Hudson Street) in New York City. The event will also feature an introduction and Q&A by John Flansburgh and John Linnell! Tickets are $12 each, and available at 92y.org.

- Laura Cantrell's WFMU show Radio Thrift Shop on August 27 rebroadcast a live performance by They Might Be Giants at the Museum of Television and Radio from October 1997. Listen here (begins at 1 hour, 53 minutes into the audio).

- John Flansburgh shared his thoughts with the New York Times yesterday on the kind of children's music he would raise his kids on, if he had kids. Check out his recommendations.

- In an interview with Terry Bartley today, Flansburgh reveals that the band is working on their next children's album, Here Comes Science. In addition, he says, "We'll be doing some rock project in very short order after that, we might do an EP or something". - Over the past week, IGN Movies has been posting "making of" featurettes about Coraline. The fourth, while discussing John Hodgman's role in the film, includes a song "improvised" by one of his characters; whether or not Hodgman will record his own version at a later date, the featurette version (beginning at 1:22) is sung by Linnell.
