They Might Be Giants has long since been recognized as a progressive band, not only musically, but in their methods of getting their music to their fans. Originally pioneering the Dial-A-Song concept after John Linnell got hurt in a bike accident, the band learned that special projects such as these are not only a great way to disseminate their music, but to also retain a loyal fanbase.
