They Might Be Giants has released an official soundboard recording of their November 29, 2015 show at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY, which featured a full set of John and John playing as a duo with a reel-to-reel backing tape. It can be purchased on TMBG's merch store.

They Might Be Giants have recorded a new song, "Who Are The Electors?", for an upcoming CNN television special. The song will air Saturday 8/15 at 10 PM ET during "CNN Special Report – Count on Controversy: Inside the Electoral College", and its video can be seen now at CNN.com.

John Flansburgh and John Linnell have announced that they will both have EPs coming out in 2021, the first solo releases by either in over two decades. Flansburgh will be reviving his side project Mono Puff, and Linnell will be recording a project called Roman Songs that includes songs sung in Latin. Instant Fan Club members will be the first to receive digital downloads of both releases, and IFC Super and Crazy Presidents will receive exclusive 10" vinyl EPs of both.
